The Original exhibit is now on display in Vermont, USA

Isle La Motte Preservation Trust – June 2014

The Walk Through Time exhibit is a world class educational exhibit depicting the 4.6 billion year history of life on Earth.  It is currently on loan to the Isle La Motte Preservation Trust on the Goodsell Ridge Preserve on Isle La Motte for the 2014 season.  It consists of colorfully illustrated panels set up along a 4,600 foot trail where each foot represents a million years.

The 83 acre Goodsell Ridge Preserve protects outcrops of the 480 million year old Chazy Fossil Reef, described by scientists world-wide as “the oldest biologically diverse reef” in the history of life on Earth.  It was acquired and permanently protected by the Isle La Motte Preservation Trust and the Lake Champlain Land Trust.   It is one of several Chazy Reef sites designated in 2009 as a National Natural Landmark by the US Department of the Interior and the National Park Service.
